Snorkeling in Belize

No experience, special training or special skills are required. For those who want feel want a little extra assurance, we provide life vests free of charge. Thus allowing guests to float on the surface with no effort or worries.

Most of the snorkeling areas feature relatively shallow waters. This allows guests to see a number of different species including sharks, rays, turtles, groupers, jacks, barracudas and host of other tropical marine life.

With the world's second largest barrier reef just a few minutes from shore, snorkeling guests are treated to an unrivaled display of marine life. Shark Ray Alley is a favorite, as it is all but guranteed that you will see large numbers of sharks and rays there. Often the sharks will come within a few feet of snorkelers. Not to worry though, the sharks here are docile and harmless to humans, albeit exciting anyway!
